Review

This entire place is so friendly - really does give you a lovely holiday feel - the chap on the gate was so pleasant, greeting us with a smile and a little joke it was lovely. My family arrived after us and the first thing they said was how lovely the man on the gate was, chatting and making the kiddies laugh. I was greeted warmly at reception (slightly early) also informed I had a free upgrade which was a real bonus! Caravan spotless and so comfy with all beds made up as promised. Pool was first class and plenty going on for the kiddies all day really, for you to pick and choose. Ate in the restaurant, food and service good and prices average for a holiday park. Drinks at the bar shamefully overpriced though, as was the shop onsite, but sadly seems the norm for this kind of place. Great large screen in the lounge to keep the big boys happy - a well kept, well run little park, we had a great time and will return.

Just returned from a fabulous week at Doniford Bay. We were welcomed by extremely friendly staff and were lucky enough to have a caravan on the sea front. It was immaculate with the most stunning views, especially at sunset. The site was very Covid secure the entire time.
Although not all the facilities were open, neither the surrounding zoos etc, we found so much to do and even ran out of time. We have 2 small children (2 and 5), who loved visiting the pond and seeing the ducklings, plus walking across the site to the near by farm. It’s a great location for visiting local areas (Dunster, Minehead, etc) but also not far to visit some of the beaches in North Devon (Woolacombe is a favourite of ours). The beach on site is great for walking, finding fossils or simply admiring the view and sunset. There’s also a couple of play areas for the kids, crazy golf and the swimming pool (I can’t comment on the other activities available as we didn’t take advantage of them). My eldest enjoyed a dip in the outdoor pool and used the outdoor water slide. All the lifeguards were very friendly. The shop is great too, and we also enjoyed a nice meal on the terrace at the on site restaurant.
It was our first trip to Somerset, but we will definitely be back and we can’t wait!
