Review - Holidays
Stayed here for a week end of September, I just cannot believe the negative reviews on here. We were upgraded on arrival to a Prestige caravan, which was spotless and had central heating, dishwasher, bluetooth speakers, en suite to main bedroom, one of the best caravans we have stayed in. Lovely views across the Bristol Channel, food in the restaurant was very nice and the service was excellent. Reception staff very helpful and polite, security chap on the barrier was always happy and had a smile for everyone. Would definitely return here in the future.
Mini break to the coastal resort
The quality of accommodation was first class. Exceptionally clean and spacious. The resort itself is trying its best to provide as many services as possible despite the Government’s onerous & often contradictory Covid-19 restrictions. The entertainments team are also doing their best to keep guests happy despite it being illegal for guests to sing or dance, which is bizarre. All of the staff are happy and helpful - especially Rob the security guard and Courtney, Melissa & Beth in entertainments. All-in-all, we had a great break.
Best Haven Holiday yet!
Having used Haven for Easter and October half term holidays on/off for twelve years, we have certain standards we expect and Doniford Bay doesn’t disappoint. It’s a very small site nestled between a murky estuary and rolling hills. The site is relatively flat and mobile homes nicely spaced out. The activities and restaurants Are all near the main entrance. The site is extremely well maintained and clean. We ate out twice at the cafe: salmon and grill really good. Had excellent takeaway fish and chips. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and made our activities lots of fun; we joined in shooting, climbing and pottery painting. (We didn’t use the pool or the show room.)Our youngest really enjoyed the free mini golf and trying his luck with the slot machines. …
